Well, that's just plain silly and untrue. Of course I want things---just not stuff you can buy (a subject to be discussed at a another time)---but it is true that I don't make gift lists. Like I've said before, I make lists only for things I don't want to forget. Sometime I make lists for THOSE lists.
But I certainly don't make Want-I-Want-For-Christmas lists, or circle items in ca-ta-logs or dog-ear their pages. So I guess since I don't do that and don't drop hints about things I Want, I'm a difficult person to shop for.
A tree house and a train set. Those were my I-Really-Want-One dream gifts. Not the type of train set that choo-choos around the base of a Christmas tree, or the wooden one that takes up space on a living room floor,
The YouTube video below is of the Christmas Train Village in Livingston, Texas. It takes a couple months and hundreds of hours for the builders to make this kind of magic. It you don't have 9 minutes to watch the entire video, even a couple minutes will give you an idea of how spectacular it is.
